As the mobile landscape sees a large increase in crowd sharing platforms, the introduction of a power bank peer to peer sharing app was timely in creating another avenue of convenience for the general public.
To brand and design the app, in-depth studies of the user experience and expanded revenue streams were researched to create a positive app launch reception.
Brand materials had to also cascade across all customer touch points, including the charging stations, social media assets and promotional videos.
A separate project was also commissioned to focus on developing marketing materials that targeted angel investors.
To be recognised as the premier portable charging solution, a step by step user experience and feedback sessions were conducted to better understand the app’s mechanics, and to translate these design values to the marketing collaterals, as well as to effectively project this identity when it came to garnering investors and partners in the brand-building process.
The app launched successfully in Singapore, with quick uptake in developing markets such as Vietnam and Nigeria, as well as matured markets like the United States.
